Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the English pages of www.institutovisionintuitiva.com, what we do with it and the choices you have. We keep it to the minimum we need to answer you, run our courses and, if you ask us to, write to you.

1. Who is responsible for your data

  • Owner and data controller: Tània Agorreta Albert, trading as Instituto de Visión Intuitiva (Intuitive Vision Institute)
  • Seller of the English-language programs: Human Insight Institute LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA (New Mexico Entity ID 0008089756)
  • Spanish tax ID (NIF): 47325130P
  • Address: c/ Puiglagulla 11, 08552 Taradell (Barcelona), Spain
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone and WhatsApp: +34 644 636 728
  • Website: www.institutovisionintuitiva.com

When you buy an English-language program, Human Insight Institute LLC, our US company, is the seller and is also responsible for your order data, together with the Institute. Requests about your data can be sent to the same email address for both.

We are based in Spain, so we follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law. We apply the same protections to everyone, wherever you live.

2. What data we collect

  • When you write to us (contact form, email or WhatsApp): your name, your email or phone number, and what you tell us.
  • When you join the newsletter: your email address and the record of your confirmation. We use double opt-in, so nothing is sent until you confirm.
  • When you enroll or buy: your name, email, billing address, country, phone number if you give it, and the details of your order. Card details go straight to the payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
  • In the student area: your account details, your course progress and anything you choose to share in the course.
  • When you browse: basic technical data such as your IP address and browser, and, only if you accept analytics cookies, anonymous usage statistics (see section 8).

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your questions, because you asked us to (our legitimate interest in replying).
  • To provide the courses and training you enroll in: access to the student area, live sessions, order and invoice emails (performance of a contract).
  • To send you our newsletter, only with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
  • To meet our legal obligations (tax and accounting) and to prevent fraud (legal obligation and legitimate interest).
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, only with your consent to analytics cookies.

We do not make automated decisions about you, and we never sell or rent your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that help us run the Institute, under data processing agreements, and only what each one needs:

  • Our web hosting provider and Cloudflare (website delivery and security).
  • Brevo (newsletter and email delivery).
  • Payment providers: WooPayments (powered by Stripe), PayPal and Klarna, depending on how you choose to pay.
  • Google Analytics (anonymous statistics, only with your consent).
  • Zoom, for the live online sessions, and WhatsApp, for the students’ group if you choose to join it.
  • Human Insight Institute LLC and the Institute share the data needed to deliver the programs you buy.
  • Banks, our tax advisors and public authorities, when required to collect payments or by law.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or access data from, the United States or other countries outside the European Union. In those cases the transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Order and invoicing data is kept for the period required by tax and accounting law (in Spain, generally six years). After that, it is deleted.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, receive a copy to take elsewhere, or withdraw any consent you gave. Just write to [email protected]; we will reply within one month.

If you live in the United States or Canada, you can make the same requests (to know what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it) at the same address, and we will never treat you differently for doing so.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the data protection authority where you live.

8. Cookies

  • Necessary cookies keep your cart and checkout working, keep you signed in to the student area, and remember your language and your cookie choice. They don’t need consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, with anonymized IP) are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie notice.
  • Embedded videos from YouTube load, in privacy-enhanced mode, only when you press play.

To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the cookie notice will appear again.

9. Children

Our English website and programs are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
