About the Institute

The Intuitive Vision Institute and its approach

What if the first step wasn't to believe in anything, but simply to play?

We start from experience, not from dogma

At the Institute we don't start from a dogma or from a truth you must accept before you begin. We start from experience. Each person who comes to us brings their own story and their own doubts, and we don't ask them to believe anything: we ask them to allow themselves to experiment.

Play is how we do it. Not as something childish or shallow, but as the most honest way to learn something new: without the pressure of "getting it right", without a correct result to reach. When body and mind play, the defences that usually block perception relax, and that is where something begins to happen.

In every session, every experience has a gift to show. There are no "failed" perceptions.

If something doesn't happen the way you expected, that is information too, and part of the path. This way of accompanying comes from an idea we have held from the very beginning: that the journey inward is the path to your own wisdom, and that our role is not to give you answers but to help you discover yours.

The seven pillars

Seven pillars hold that openness in every session:

  • Love, as the force that lets you explore without fear.
  • Self-knowledge, as a compass.
  • Balance.
  • Openness to what is new.
  • Awareness of what you are discovering.
  • Joy and peace, because this path doesn't have to be solemn to be deep.

It isn't seeing without eyes. It's seeing more.

When someone tries to perceive blindfolded for the first time, they almost always arrive with the same question: will I be able to guess what is in front of me? But after a few sessions the question changes on its own. It stops being about what is outside and starts being about what is inside.

Because to perceive without the help of the eyes, you first have to learn to listen to what you usually ignore: the tension that appears when you doubt, the impulse that arrives before the thought, the difference between what you truly feel and what you think you should feel. There is no shortcut: the way out always goes through the inside.

That is what people call the magic of Intuitive Vision, although "magic" isn't quite the right word. It isn't a trick, nor a gift reserved for a few. It is the almost inevitable effect of training your attention inward: you get to know yourself better. You learn to tell your own voice from the voice of fear, your intuition from your imagination, what you want from what you were told you should want.

Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.

Lao Tzu

We see it every week: the person who arrives wanting to see without eyes almost always leaves having seen something much harder to look at: themselves. That is why we say this isn't seeing without eyes. It's seeing more.

Who we are

The Institute was founded in Catalonia, Spain, in 2019 by Jordi Imbert, Gemma Albert and Tània Agorreta. Since then more than 480 coaches in 26 countries have trained with us, mostly in Spanish, in Spain, Latin America and France. The English editions are the newest door.

Alongside the courses, the Institute runs three volunteer research commissions (visual, education and scientific) that publish their studies in open access, and an education programme that already runs in several public schools.

Jordi and Tània are the authors of Seeing without eyes is possible. Intuitive Vision and Expanded Intuition.
