Who was Nina Kulagina?

Nina Kulagina was a Soviet woman known for her extraordinary psychic abilities, including dermo-optical perception (DOP) and telekinesis. Her talent was discovered by chance in a hospital, which caught the interest of the scientific community.

Dr. Leonid Vasiliev was one of the first to study her seriously. After learning about her case, he went to her home, where her husband showed him recordings of Nina moving objects with her mind. Kulagina was then put through rigorous laboratory experiments, where she demonstrated her abilities under strict scientific control.

Nina Kulagina’s scientific impact

The Kulagina phenomenon caused a great stir in the international scientific community. Scientists from all over the world, including some from the United States, were allowed to attend her demonstrations.

While some specialists certified her abilities, others could not find any rational explanation for the phenomena they observed.

Nina Kulagina and teaching dermo-optical perception (DOP)

Kulagina and Rosa Kuleshova tried to teach dermo-optical perception (DOP) to different groups of people, especially children and blind people. In many cases their students went beyond the need for touch and managed to identify colors, shapes and objects without any physical contact.

🔍 She was also approached by intelligence services to pass on this technique for training spies and investigators.
